Wuikinuxv Village, within Katit Indian Reserve No. 1, at the head of River’s Inlet sustained significant damage to the floating debris barrier, marine floats, and gangway from high debris flow during high water/flow events in 2015 and 2017. The Project was to construct a new, steel pile debris barrier, reinstall the existing floats, add one additional float, widen/extend the existing boat ramp, and involved a dredging program.
