The Rock Slope Stabilization North Side project, located at the Esquimalt Graving Dock, Canada’s largest non-military dry-dock, was a remediation to the dangerous rock slope at the CFB Esquimalt base. The project consisted of the installation of a retaining system which involved installing mesh to protect the surrounding buildings, scaling, drilling multiple anchors into the north slope rock face, and rock bolting.
